About Me
I am a Sales Engineer based in San Francisco with over 3 years of experience in the EdTech industry. In my past experiences I was responsible for providing product demonstrations, and leading POCs for clients. I worked with corporate clients such as Amazon, Salesforce, Johnson and Johnson and with Educational institutions such as MIT, HBS, Stanford and Wharton to understand client needs and worked to custom design solutions to fit the client needs.
I also closely worked with the Product and Engineering teams to relay client feedback and feature requests and acted as the technical liason between the client and the product/ engineering teams. Being the first Sales Engineer at Forio, I deisgned and set processes in place to ensure successful client interactions and increased the client retention rate by 55%.
Experience
Forio creates custom simulations for corporate training and education, and provides a platform for creating and sharing your own simulations.
I developed, presented, and delivered high-impact demonstrations of Forio products to prospective buyers, along with working on RFI/RFP responses for clients. I also acted as the subject matter expert leading POC initiatives. I assisted clients with the product integrations and served as a trusted advisor to customers. I worked with clients to assist them in creating strategies and devising solutions that best fit their needs. I also created and monitored SEO initiatives using Google Analytics and Google Adwords to run Ad campaigns in Asia, South America and North America. As I was the first SE at the company, I managed to create new sales and customer service initiatives and implemented them on SMB and enterprise accounts leading to an increase in revenue by 53%.

Jeppesen is an American company offering navigational information, operations planning tools, flight planning products and software.
I provided technical support to over 300 employees at Boeing remotely(using Active Directory and SSH) and onsite. I created tickets and monitored progress of projects using JIRA. I was also responsible for maintaining and managing the internal databases using SQL. I implemented plans to install, configure, and troubleshoot employee hardware, and software to minimize system compromisation and monitor network performance. I participated in the beta phase testing with product development teams, and provided feedback to the teams. I acted as a liaison between clients and internal teams to convey feature request information that helped increase client satisfaction 32%.

Remote Car Controlled via Internet of Things

Using Wi-Fi technology, I designed a remote-controlled car that can be operated using an android application. A camera is integrated with the microcontroller to receive real-time video transmission back to the Android hand-held device. An ultrasonic sensor is integrated with the setup which measures the distance between the car and any obstacle in its path and sends the observations to the user.
Home Automation Using Speech Recognition
Control appliances such as lights and fan using speech recognition.
Controlled home appliances by using keywords such as Turn On/ Turn Off. The data was received and analyzed using Matlab and instructions were transmitted to the microcontroller by using wireless technology.
